Thank you for donating to West Coast Boxer Rescue. Every dollar makes a difference for our dogs. Since we are a 100% volunteer group, the money that we receive goes directly to the care of our dogs. Thank you for giving to our rescue and helping save the life of an unwanted Boxer.
WCBR is maintains between 10-20 Boxers in flux between foster homes, kennels and adoptions to forever homes. As one dog is adopted, another Boxer takes their place. All of these dogs require spay/neuters, vaccinations, food, and boarding ... very few come into our care up-to-date on vaccinations and altered.
These are our expenses for each dog:
• Nose To Tail Exam = $38.00
• Blood Work = $60.50 - $137.00
• Vaccinations = $59.00 - $120.00
• Spay / Neuter = $340.00
• $18-44/dog/day for kennel boarding.
• Beds & bowls are usually donated.
• Microchips are free through Home Again's Chips for Free program.
Between $473 to $635 per dog*
*These are the costs for healthy dogs, based on weight and age. This does not include any boarding or foster expenses.
